Description: Thank you for your interest in our “All Girl” horsemanship programs. We are located 45 minutes from San Antonio. Our camp gives a very unique camping experience which is “All About Horses”. If they have never touched a horse before or are intermediate to advanced riders the instructions and activities at this camp will challenge and improve their riding skills and horse knowledge. A horse is assigned to them for the week with classes on all aspects of care management for that horse (feeding, grooming, bathing, and educational classes on what every horse owner should know). Riding lessons daily on their assigned horse. Certified riding instructors demonstrate safety as our top priority and this is reinforced daily in both ground work and mounted.
All campers will be tested on their riding ability to evaluate their skill level. Some of our campers have never been on a horse before (beginners) other campers are intermediate to experienced riders. We have two arenas. Our instructors are certified through CHA (Certified Horsemanship Association) and also undergoing training with AAHS (American Association of Horsemanship Safety). Campers experience responsibilities and unconditional love in working with horses through our Camp Programs. This promotes self-worth and recognition which heightens self-confidence.
