Our Backpacking Programs utilize various natural (mountains, rocks, water) and man-made (initiatives) elements to give the best experience possible in the state of Colorado, a state known for its majestic and rugged beauty. Ages 10-11, Sunday - Friday: $418
This is a beginning wilderness adventure! You’ll have tons of fun spending two nights beneath spectacular Colorado skies backpacking, bouldering, tunneling, and rock climbing. Learn the basics of backpacking and you will still have time to play games, explore, and enjoy being in creation while getting to know the Creator! Ages 13+, Sunday - Friday: $418 per person
While backpacking in the Colorado wilderness under a canopy of royal blue, you and your dad will enjoy rappelling, high ropes courses, hiking, and exploring the Pike National Forest. Meaningful study time with other dad/teen teams from all over the country, and a lot of fun-filled quality time together. Fitness required. Ages 12-14 or 14-18, Sunday - Friday: $418
Spend amazing days exploring Pike National Forest and the incredible views of God’s country! While backpacking, you’ll put your courage and endurance to the test as you tunnel, rappel cliffs, and hop down the scree slide. Top it all off with a half day solo experience with God. Ages 14-18, Sunday - Friday: $448
This challenge-oriented Excursion is designed to sharpen your decision-making skills. You’ll whitewater raft on an intense river, in addition to backpacking, and navigating without the use of trails through some of the most adventurous terrain in Colorado. This trip is perfect for groups seeking to develop map and compass skills and leadership and team building skills! Rocky Mountain Challenge 2006 Dates: June 26-July 7; July 30-August 11
Ages 15-20, Sunday - Friday (12 days): $728
“RMC” is our most life-changing adventure that will stretch you physically, mentally, and relationally. You’ll have to push yourself to successfully navigate and overcome a series of challenges and obstacles set before you. This program develops courage, leadership, trust, interdependence and decision-making skills, and inspires relevant scripture application and discussion. Fitness required. Ages 16-22, Sunday - Friday (12 days): $728
For alumni who completed the Rocky Mountain Challenge! No turning back. This physically challenging program reunites backpacking lovers and offers exciting new challenges like rock climbing, whitewater rafting, and hiking up five of Colorado’s most breath-taking “14-ers,” including Mt. Elbert, the highest point in Colorado! Limited to eight campers/session, this program fosters strong camper/counselor relationships. You’ll have a blast mountain biking, rock climbing, kayaking, hiking, and on the challenging ropes courses. You’ll enjoy a different adventure every day. Bible study, scripture memory, and one-on-one discipleship are all included. This is the adventure for those who love variety. Three extreme adventures packed into one incredible journey, with no experience necessary! You’ll stay at Eagle Lake’s base camp at night and travel by day to various adventure sites for mountain biking, rock climbing, and whitewater rafting! Ages 12-15* and 15-18, Sunday - Friday: $418
You will climb, rappel, mountain bike, trek, paddle and navigate your way to a deeper understanding of teamwork, unity, and leadership. Spiritually you will be challenged with studies and discussions on unity in the body of Christ. This is a weeklong multi-sport challenge that will culminate with a team adventure race. Winner of the team adventure race will be forever remembered on our L.E.A.D. championship plaque. Rock Camp 2006 Dates: July 9-14; August 6-11

Get instruction in the essentials of rock climbing including: commands, knots, belaying, hand and foot technique, safety, basic climbing equipment, and more.
