Camp Ocean Pines in Cambria has been running remarkable summer camps for 59 years!  Week long overnight camps are designed to strengthen your child’s creative talents, open their eyes to exciting discoveries, and foster new friendships. 

Limited to 50 students in two, week-long sessions, Camp Ocean Pines runs excellent Marine Science Nature Camps.  As an accredited ACA camp, we maintain an low staff to camper ratio.  Our unique environment allows students to both explore tidepools and the amazing world of the forest!  We take students kayaking in San Simeon, day hiking in Big Sur, touring through Hearst Castle, surfing in Morro Bay, and the highlight is the day at the world famous Monterey Bay Aquarium!  Our well-trained staff inspire students through hands on marine biology, camp crafts, nature study, games, and evening campfire programs.  We partner with Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary, Morro Bay National Estuary, California State Parks, along with resources from Cal Poly University. 

Kids bunk in brand new cabins made with strawbale construction!  The cabins are located in a beautiful forested site overlooking the Pacific Ocean.  Excellent meals are served with a breathtaking ocean view in the historic lodge.  Camps begin each Sunday afternoon at 2 pm, and end at 6 pm on Friday night.  Sessions can be repeated, and students can stay over the weekend at no extra charge.  We offer free pick up and return from the San Luis Obispo Airport.
