The Basketball Academy at IMG Academies in Bradenton, Florida is the chosen training facility of 40 NBA veterans, 25 NBA first round draft picks, 30+ European Professionals, 20+ College All-Americans as well as High School All-Americans. All of these players have benefited from the comprehensive training experience available only at The Basketball Academy, and so can you! Our weekly Summer Camp programs are available to all levels, ages 8-18 and provide a professional caliber training environment in a fun, exciting atmosphere.
Our Summer Camp sessions run Sunday through Saturday, June through August and include:
- Individual skill training
- Position specific skill training
- Game situation strategy and practice
- Team training
- Balance, agility, strength and speed training at the International Performance Institute (IPI) – all basketball specific
Program Features include:
- IMG Academies Mental Conditioning sessions
- Trips to Disney World, Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios, Sea World, Busch Gardens and much more are scheduled on some weekends.
Facilities:
- Two NBA regulation hardwood basketball courts with state-of-the-art goals and multiple training stations
- IPI Training Center with a 30,000 square foot artificial turf dome
- Multi-sport pro shop
- Dormitory housing (three bedroom/two bathroom units)
- Junior cafeteria
- Junior swimming pool
- Computer Learning Center

The Basketball Academy is just one of six training programs hosted on the IMG Academies’ campus.
