Description:

The IMG Soccer Academy, located in Bradenton, Florida, at IMG Academies, offers weekly summer programs designed to help soccer players of all levels reach their goals.  Whether your aspiration is to play professionally, earn a college scholarship, make your state program or simply win a spot on your club or varsity team, the coaches at the IMG Soccer Academy have developed programs that will help you become a better individual and team player.  Soccer enthusiasts of all levels, ages 10-19 are welcome.

Summer programs run Sunday through Saturday, June through August and include:

• Technical/Functional Training
• Tactical/Position Training
• Speed/Agility/Quickness training at the International Performance Institute (IPI)
• Strength and Power training at IPI
• Recovery Training

Program Features include:

• IMG Academies Mental Conditioning sessions
• Game play and evaluation
• Beach Training

• Trips to Disney World, Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios, Sea World, Busch Gardens and much more are scheduled on some weekends.

Facilities:

• Four Bermuda grass soccer fields and training area
• On-site administration building with video rooms           
• IPI Training Center with a 30,000 square foot artificial turf dome
• Multi-sport pro shop
• Dormitory housing (three bedroom/two bathroom units)
• Junior cafeteria
• Junior swimming pool
• Computer Learning Center

Come train where teams like DC United, Chicago Fire, U.S. Men’s Olympic Team, Colorado Rapids, Australian Women’s Olympic Team, Chinese Women’s Olympic Team, FC Zurich, Columbus Crew, NY/NJ MetroStars, U-17 U.S. Boys National Team and more have trained!

The IMG Soccer Academy is just one of six training programs hosted on the IMG Academies’ campus.  Other training programs are the Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy (NBTA), The David Leadbetter Golf Academy (DLGA), The Baseball Academy, The Basketball Academy and the International Performance Institute (IPI).
