Special Needs Camps: Learning Disabilities and ADHD

Description: Every child is precious. For children with Learning Disabilities and/or ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) and those with incontinence or enuresis (bed wetting) difficulties, a positive overnight camping experience can mean the diffecence between succeeding and struggling in life. Camp Kirk was established in 1993 to offer direct services to those children with special needs. It provides a nurturing, non-competitive and supportive environment that allows these children an opportunity to develop social, emotional and physical skills, thereby raising their self-esteem.
